Shaun Pollenz for Wake County Commissioner

Claim Your Seat At The Table

Shaun Pollenz

My name is Shaun Pollenz and I am a running for Wake County Commissioner because I love Wake County, and I want to make sure it remains one of the best places to live, work, play, and raise a family.

Having grown up here and attended our world class public schools, I know where Wake County has been, and I have a vision for what it could be in the future.  In many ways, my vision aligns with that of the current Commissioners, and I look forward to continuing their good work.  In other ways, I know that my unique perspective and creativity can add real value to the Board of Commissioners.

When elected, I will serve Wake County with a focus on the 3 C’s:

  • Communication
  • Collaboration
  • Creativity

Communication is about letting you know what’s going on in your Wake County Government, responding to your emails and concerns, and letting you know how you can get involved or be heard.

Collaboration is about continuing to partner with and connect the many wonderful community organizations, elected officials, and civil servants that help make our county thrive.  When we work together, we succeed.

Creativity is about bringing something new to the table.   I’ve got a great imagination and often find myself viewing the world from a different perspective than my peers.  With an injection of creativity, I can help make Wake County an exciting and unique place to live for decades to come.

I can’t wait to get to work for you.  Registered Democrats and Unaffiliated voters can support my campaign at the polls by voting in the Democratic primary election.  Early voting begins on April 28th, and election day is May 17th.
